Jambalaya

- 1 Large onion
- 3 Cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 Stalks celery (diced)
- 2 Carrots (diced)
- 2 Medium green bell peppers
- 1 Can rushed tomatoes
- 1 Cup brown rice
- 1 14 oz. turkey keilbasa cut 1/2 an inch thick slices
- 2 tps Shiratake hot sauce
- 2 tbps thyme
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbs parsley
- 1 lb shrimp, pealed and deveined
Directions
- Place onion, garlic, celery, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, rice, and sausage in crockpot in this order.
- Add hot sauce, thyme, salt, pepper, and water
- Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours. 2 hours for Aroma combo Rice Cooker/Steamer/Slow Cooker
- Add shrimp and parsley last when Jambalaya is cooked. Let shrimp sit in hot Jambalaya for a few minutes before serving.
