Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
2c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 t. salt
2 eggs
2 c. warm water
1- 1 1/2 T. yeast
8 c. flour
Directions
Combine water and yeast, let sit until yeast bubbles
scald milk, pour over butter.
add sugar and salt
add yeast mixture and eggs
mix. add flour until dough consistency. (same as above)
let rise for 1 1/2 hours
cut into 2 section, roll 1 section out.
melt 1/2 cube butter, spread on rolled out dough
add brown sugar and cinnamon to taste
roll up and cut with thread, put on greased cookie sheet
repeat steps with other half of dough.
cover with cloth and let rise for 45 min
cook at 350 for 15-20 min.
Frosting
1/2 c. butter
2 t. vanilla
1 1/2 lb. powdered sugar
milk
Directions
melt butter, add 3 T. milk and vanilla
beat until smooth
add powdered sugar and beat until smooth and right consistency
spread over cinnamon rolls while they are still warm
