- Melt butter completely in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.
- Add half and half, brown sugar, and egg yolks, mix using a whisk until mixture begins to boil.
- Reduce to low heat and continue to stir 5-7 mins, until frosting has thickened.
- Add vanilla, then fold in pecans and coconut.
