Barbecued Chicken
You'll notice that I do not have measurements. I just played with it to get the right amount of marinate to cover all my chicken. To get to your desired taste, you need to taste the marinate! If you do not want to do it this because you're grossed out with the chicken in it, do it before your put your meat in. I do it either way! ha ha!
Ingredients
- Boneless chicken thighs
- Yoshida's Sweet Teriaki sauce
- 7up or Sprite (the secret!)
- Ground pepper
- Green onions (chopped)
- Brown sugar
- The marinate is supposed to be sweet. You should be able to smell and taste the green onion as well.
Directions
- Marinate your chicken for at least 24 hours.
- Combine all ingredients in a Tupperware or covered container.
- Just make sure that all the meat is mostly covered with the marinate.
- Should you wish to add anymore liquid, make sure to add more of each of the other ingredients to balance out the marinate and to meet your taste.
